Luna & Leo by Romy Maxime

The nuptials of Luna and Leo were celebrated by friends and family gathering everywhere from South Africa to Holland. The venue was the spectacular Montpellier Farm in Tulbagh, Western Cape which hosted both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. It was a pleasure to photograph this wonderful couple on their special day.

Mia & Joe by Romy Maxime

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Mia & Joe's destination wedding in Cape Town in January this year. Mia hails from Cape Town and Joe from Washington and they flew down from the US with friends and family in tow to be met with Mia's South African contingent. It was a lively intimate wedding of 60 guests at the Villa Maison Noir.

Meet me in Tennessee by Romy Maxime

I have just received a wedding booking from Nashville, Tennessee and immediately my thoughts drifted back in time to one of the most romantic iconic love stories the world ever saw: country legends and duo Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

I foraged through Life Magazine's archives for photographs of the couple and found these as wedding inspiration moods and a video back in time.

Okay, so they're singing about Jackson, not Nashville, but I love this video.
